The Challenge of the Rivals

In this highly anticipated tickle commission being made by one of my favorite artists, Galen: [link] Both Galen and Zhal decided to enter into a contest during a festival, but soon find out that the contest isn't at all what it seems. I'm very happy to have done this tickle commission with Galen and I hope to do more with him in the future. I've got so many ideas, I can't wait.


NOTE: The scenario and the story I wrote for this picture is non-canon with the real Galen story or with the Mitzakan universe.

It was during the annual town festival, both Galen and Zhal were walking through the crowd, enjoying the atmosphere. After walking a while, they came across Uniko who was standing around a strange attraction which looks like a pair of stocks laying on a resting area with two metal clamps attached to the stone wall, and an hour glass sitting on a stone. "Well hey there Uniko, I didn't know that you'd be here, what are you up to?" asked Zhal. " Heh, what's it look like, I've got my very own attraction that I made myself, It's quite fun." Galen inspected the "attraction" a bit closer, "Hmmmm, aren't these devices used to restrain prisoners? What exactly is supposed to happen?" asked Galen. "I've got these stocks and restraints set up as an Endurance Contest, when two contestants are restrained in the stocks, they have to endure various forms of foot torture while not being to extreme, for the most part. And as time goes by, the foot torture methods will increase, and if you two can resist the urge to not exclaim a single protest or even say one word, the both of you will win. You can make as much noise as you want, but if one word gets passed your mouth you fail. What do you think?" Both Galen and Zhal pondered over it for a few seconds, "Sound interesting." said Zhal, "I bet the two of use would be good contestants." But Galen was a bit more skeptical, " I'm not too sure about this, something doesn't quite feel right." But Zhal gloated him on, "Heh, Ah come on Galen, this might be good for your reputation, and besides what else do you really do during these festivals? I just hope it's not that your afraid?" After continuing thinking about it, Galen finally decided, "Oh alright, just this once." After that, Uniko personally secured the two warriors hands behind them, restrained them against the wall, and locked their large muscular feet in the wooden stocks and also tied a rope around their big toes to avoid them from flailing their feet around. "Alright then, all we need to do is gather a crowd and then the fun can begin." said Uniko who put on an evil smile when his back was turned to the two now helpless Mitzakan warriors.


After several minutes, a crowd eventually gathered, curious to see why the two famous warriors were restrained in such a way. Now that he had got a good amount of attention, Uniko stepped up in front of the crowd and began to explain the purpose of the attraction. " My fellow Mitzakans, today you are about two see two incredible fighters endure a test that's beyond their comprehension. A test so great that no warrior has yet to prevail from it's unbearable torture. Today, both Galen and Zhal shall face such a task. Today, the very feet of these two rivals shall endure...................TICKLE TORTURE!" Uniko then held up some feathers and brushes in his hands. The crowd gave out a good laugh after hearing the punchline and gathered in a little closer to get a better view of what was about to come, though Galen and Zhal weren't quite as excited. "What?! Uniko! Is this some sort of a joke?! yelled Galen. "Well I didn't say what KIND of foot torture it was going to be, Heh Heh." said Uniko with a wicked grin on his face. "Grrrrrr, you are totally going to pay for this when we get out of here!" said Zhal, but Uniko ignored them and continued talking with the crowd. "Yes everyone, for 30 minutes, both Galen and Zhal shall have their big feet tickled personally by me, but since I don't wish to have all the fun I shall select two children from the audience to help out by tickling Zhal's feet." Immediately, all the children began raising their hands, hoping to join in the fun. After observing the excited crowd Uniko picked out two children to help with the tickling. "Now that I have my two assistants, when I overturn this hourglass the tickling shall begin, and during this time both Galen and Zhal can laugh and struggle all then want, But should one of them utter a single word, they will lose and the silent one shall be the winner. Although we will start with feathers, once the 20 minute mark passes, both me and my two assistants will be allowed to use finger claws and brushes to increase the challenge." During Uniko's instructions to the crowd, both Galen and Zhal talked with one another before the torture starts. "Well this was a good idea going down to the fair today and getting into this humiliating situation, thanks to you." grumbled Galen, "Hey! You could have walked away, it was your choice! Besides this might be over before you know it. Though, I don't even know if you or I are even ticklish at all, we'll just have to grin and bear it." said Zhal. After Uniko was finished, both he and the two kids gathered around Galen and Zhal's feet, with the two kids taking a foot each. "Okay, now that everything is ready. Uniko reached over to the hourglass and quickly turned it over. "TICKLE THEIR FEET!"



Immediately, both the two kids and Uniko began to tickle the tiger and lions giant feet, with the two kids using the feathers to tickle all around Zhals feet while Uniko slowly brushed two feathers up and down Galen's feet. Surprised at the sudden sensitivity, both Galen and Zhal jumped a bit and mildly jerked around in their restraints, and even resisted the urge to giggle. Like with Zhal, Galen didn't believe it, how could something so simple and light tickle so much thought Galen, while he watched with piercing eyes at the treacherous unicorn teasing and tickling his feet. "Heh, so your big tough kitty piddies are ticklish after all," mocked Uniko "Come on, why don't the two of you just let it out, it will be so much easier that way, Heh Heh." Uniko then started to use the quill end of the feathers to scratch all over Galen's wide soles, which briefly made Galen let out a laugh, but quickly resumed enduring the ticklishness. Zhal wasn't doing any better then Galen, as his toes wiggled desperately as the feathers passed through them. Like Galen, he was already desperate for the tickling to stop, but the kids were just as merciless as Uniko. Galen stared at the slow moving hourglass, it just now passed the 10 minute mark. Both Uniko and the kids were now tickling much faster, half the time using the quill end to tickle all around the massive feet and occasionally digging in between the tiger and lion's toes. Both of the foot tormented warrior continued to endure the challenge without laughing out loud, that is until the 20 minute mark passed.


"Alright that's 20 minutes, take up your claws and or brushes and continue tickling their feet as best you can!" With that, the canine child used a long brush for one foot, while the mouse child decided to use his claws on the other foot, Uniko took out two large thick circular brushes and began to scrub up and down Galen's thick muscular soles. The claws and the brushes were just too much, after several seconds of holding in the new found sensitivity, Galen and Zhal burst out into laughter. "Most impressive! said Uniko, "Our two brave contestants have finally broken into laughter after 20 minutes, truly their endurance is great!" The crowd cheered, clapped and began rooting for both Galen and Zhal enthusiastically. Only 5 minutes left and both Galen and Zhal were getting close to beg for mercy, but managed to hold in the urge to speak a word as the constant tickle torture became more and more unbearable as the seconds went by. Finally the hourglass was starting to empty as the crowd gathered closer to watch the last remaining sand pebbles fall. After several more agonizing second the upper portion of the hourglass was finally empty and the entire crowd cheered loudly. And finally, both Galen and Zhal's merciless tickle torture stopped, finally being able to catch their breath. "(pant pant) Finally.......over......(pant pant) said Zhal as he gasped for breath "(pant pant pant)............good. (pant pant) concluded Galen.


Both Galen and Zhal were helped out of the restrains by some of the crowd members who were praising and complimenting the both of them. Uniko approached them with a mild smile his face and held out his hand. "Congratulations, you two did better then I expected. You two are definitely the toughest guys around." Both Galen and Zhal looked at each other with casual looks on their faces and eventually both shook Uniko's hand. "Heh, you better believe it." said Galen with a more cheerful look on his face, not wanting to be a spoiled sport with the crowd around them. After everything was over, the crowd eventually died down with Uniko remaining at the stocks, letting some of the children try out the stocks, while giving them some foot tickles. Galen and Zhal walked off down the streets. "Heh, that horse really pulled a fast one on us huh?" asked Zhal, "Well, next time, I won't fall to his tricks too easily." said Galen. "But still, I may have somewhat gotten us into that situation, you still gain plenty of respect from the people, like I said before." Galen gave a slight smirk, "Yeah, I guess you can say that." After walking down the street a few second more, Zhal boasted, " I bet I can beat you next time." Galen looked at his rival and friend, "Heh, we'll see!" Galen said with a toothy smile.
